In the documentary Waiting for "Superman" researchers from Johns Hopkins University report on "dropout factories." These are schools who fail to graduate at least 60 % of its students. There are over 2,000 drop out factories in the United States, 14% of them are in the State of Tennessee. Leaving us with a 22% drop out rate. Click here for a complete list of drop out factories.
